The Opportunity
The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Senior Management team and HR team, and to ensure the smooth operation of office functions.
Your Responsibilities
We are exploring ways to grow our team and in taking ownership of this role, your areas of responsibility will be:
Assisting the Senior Management team with their agendas, travel plans, reminders, and scheduling of appointments and/or meetings.
Assisting Senior Management with correspondences, corporate documents, and taking minutes when required.
Preparing facilities for scheduled meetings or events and arranging refreshments when required.
Running errands outside of the office, such as picking up supplies, and equipment, going to the post office, etc.
Managing the upkeep of the office.
Maintaining stock lists of office stationery and kitchen supplies, and ordering supplies as needed.
Identifying, selecting, and building rapport with suppliers and vendors.
Assisting in the recruitment process including sourcing and screening of profiles, head-hunting, coordinating interview appointments, and following up post-interviews.
Assisting with the on-boarding and off-boarding processes including employee induction and orientation.
Assisting with HR administration tasks including work permits.
Supporting the team with social events and taking a leading role in assigned events.
Any other tasks delegated by the Senior Management.
Your skillset
A minimum of A-Level standard of education with at least one year experience in a similar role.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Excellent ability to communicate in English, both verbally and written
Ability to work on own initiative and with minimal supervision.
A people’s person with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other office management tools.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Outstanding ability to communicate in person, in writing and over the phone.
Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
